Attendify India ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Attendify India mobile application and parent/student portal (collectively, the "Service"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, including independent educators, tutors, institute administrators ("Tutors"), and the parents and students accessing student records ("End Users").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Personal Data

• Tutor Account Data: Name, email address, mobile number, institute/coaching center name, regional location, and billing/payment preferences.
• Student/Parent Records: Student names, parent/guardian mobile numbers, batch assignments, attendance logs, homework scores, and outstanding fee ledgers.

B. Device and Usage Data

We automatically collect standard mobile device identifiers such as IP address, device model, operating system version, and unique device tokens to facilitate secure account authentication and stable performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate user identities and secure account balances.
• To generate local database rosters, batch schedules, and fee ledgers.
• To transmit app status metrics and push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• To process subscription renewals and payments through Razorpay and other integrated payment providers.

Important: We do not sell, rent, or lease student performance records, attendance data, or tutor client directories to third parties.

3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

• Google Firebase Cloud Services for database hosting, storage, synchronization, and notifications.
• Native Device Integrations such as Android/iOS share sheets and WhatsApp communication features.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service.

• Users may request permanent deletion of their account and associated records at any time.
• Deletion requests can be submitted through the app settings or by contacting us directly.
• Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days of verification.

5. Security of Your Data

We implement Firebase Security Rules, HTTPS/TLS encryption, and industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service is intended for adult Tutors and Parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental oversight.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
